AMTI-ES maintains a 24,000 square foot facility located at 176 Waltham Street, in Watertown, Massachusetts.  This location houses our design offices, machine shop, testing laboratories and production facilities.

Our engineering team has the appropriate tools to conduct design and analysis of mechanical, thermal and combustion systems.  In-house software systems include state-of-the-art  computational fluid dynamics software and CAD systems providing 2D drafting and 3D solid modeling capability for mechanical design.  We also have a variety of thermal and structural analysis packages designed by our engineers for specific applications.

 

 AMTI-ES maintains laboratories that can be used for mechanical systems testing, combustion and thermal system testing and evaluation, and electronics.  Combustion and thermal test cells include a 3 million BTU/HR vented burner test facility, an instrumented closed-loop hydronic test loop, and a number of plumbed combustion test stations.  Equipment includes exhaust gas analyzers, thermocouple signal conditioning instruments, fuel metering instruments, data loggers, and data acquisition systems.

 

AMTI-ES maintains an electronics hardware and firmware development laboratory. The laboratory is equipped with high speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers, precision signal sources and other equipment necessary to design and debug analog and digital circuitry.

 

AMTI-ES  maintains a machine shop for fast turn around  prototyping services.  Our machine shop’s CAM software and multi-axis CNC capabilities enable us to prototype complex components with a minimal lead time.  Our shop includes a variety of support machines for turning, grinding, and sheet metal fabrication.

 

The AMTI-ES team has access to other state-of-the-art laboratory and test facilities through our extended network of specialists and experts.  These laboratories include, but are not limited to, chemical analysis, metallurgy, materials testing and evaluation and food technology.
